Shaping the Future of Recreation: Building Tomorrow's Parks Today
The City of Pembroke's Parks & Recreation Master Plan (PRMP) was approved by Council to guide the strategic development of services offered by the Parks & Recreation Department over the next 10 years.
The PRMP is currently in its second year of implementation, with the following progress as of December 2025:
- 18% of all recommendations have been completed
- 5.8% are in progress
- 8.6% are ongoing (Ongoing recommendations are those that can always be improved, never “completed”)
- 67.6% are planned for future years (2026–2034)
